‘Feed it to the Fan’ is a short film diving into the process behind another work -‘Experiential Cake’- a series of cakeworks commemorating chosen life events and emotions through a friendly and unassuming medium. It is a holistic approach to designing cake, considering flavor, aesthetics, and the mechanics of consumption and satisfaction, practicing the alchemy of sensation: turning something into something else that can be shared in flavor, feeling, and maybe even enjoyment.

‘Feed it to the Fan’ is an experiment in transforming a consumable medium into permanence, retaining a similar effect and intention as the original. It follows the life cycle of the most recent cakework titled ‘Shit’. A cake created with curiosity, questions, anxiety, and rage.
